Building Resilient CI/CD Pipelines for Zero-Downtime Deployments

Executive & Architectural Summary

Standardizing enterprise deployment architectures with declarative Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), automated test gates, and atomic blue-green edge rollouts.

1. Immutable Infrastructure by Design

Configuration drift between staging and production is the leading cause of failed enterprise releases. By enforcing 100% Terraform definitions for compute, networking, and security policies, environments become completely disposable and reproducible.

2. Blue-Green & Canary Deployment Topology

Deployments must never mutate live servers in place. A new target cluster (Green) is fully provisioned, passes synthetic health checks, and receives a gradual percentage of production traffic before the old cluster (Blue) is gracefully drained and terminated.
